Independent software studio
CapSys builds focused websites and business tools for local companies. You work directly with the developer, get a clear scope before work begins, and know what the project should cost.
Simple starting points
Most CapSys projects land between $200 and $500. The goal is a useful first version, not a long list of extras you never asked for.
01
A polished one-page site for a new or local business that needs to look credible fast.
$200–$250
02
A complete small-business site with room to explain the work and earn trust.
$300–$375
03
A business site plus one useful interactive feature that helps a customer take action.
$400–$475
04
A tightly scoped installable app, prototype, or internal tool built around one important workflow.
$450–$500
App platform support
Focused app projects include support for up to two agreed operating systems at no additional CapSys charge.
iOS distribution
About $100/year to Apple
Ongoing iOS distribution, including private business apps, requires Apple Developer Program membership. Apple currently charges $99 per year in the U.S., paid directly by the client.
Secure accounts, multiple roles, payments, major data imports, or several integrations may require an expanded quote. I only go above $500 when the workload genuinely calls for it; I explain why first.

Southside Safe Lock & Door needed more than a brochure site. This cross-platform project brings inventory, timekeeping, and admin workflows into one consistent system.
The design keeps the most important actions within thumb reach, uses the company's own visual identity, and gives employees and administrators the right level of control.
The CapSys approach
Start with the real workflow, remove friction, and build the smallest complete system that makes the job easier.

01
Stock counts, pricing, SKU details, low-stock flags, and margin visibility in one mobile view.
02
Employees can clock in, attach time to a customer or location, and see recent shifts.
03
Team access, hours, jobs, and an activity history give the owner a clear operating picture.
A simpler process
CapSys is a one-person studio. The advantage is straightforward: the person listening to the problem is also the person designing and building the solution.
Start a conversation01
We start with what a customer or employee needs to accomplish, not a list of trendy features.
02
Before work begins, you see what the first version includes, what it costs, and what sits outside the quote.
03
You work directly with Aedyn, see progress, and get clear answers without an account-management layer.
04
The finished project is tested, published, and explained in plain language so you know what happens next.

Aedyn Smalley · Developer behind CapSys
Meet the builder
I’m Aedyn Smalley, a developer with Georgia roots and the person behind CapSys. I study mathematics at the University of Michigan and spend my time outside class building for the web, working in Linux and cloud environments, and automating the repetitive parts with Python and Bash.
I’m early in my career, and I don’t try to hide that. CapSys is built around direct communication, sensible scope, and work I can stand behind.
Choose the closest fit for a useful starting estimate. Most CapSys projects land between $200 and $500; unusually involved work gets a personal scope review before you commit.
